Friday's Quote

Friday's Quote...Change...seems to be the subject that keeps coming up in my life. Not only is the it coming up...there really has been a lot of changes. So, I decided to look for a few quotes on "Change".

"People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and courageously. This is how character is built" Eleanor Roosevelt

"Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future" John F. Kennedy

"If you don't like something change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain" Maya Angelou

What changes are happening in your life? What are you doing to help you deal and accept these changes?

HAVE A FABULOUS WEEKEND!!!!

The main changes happening in my life is that my father is getting older. He is recovering from pacemaker surgery and we are delighted that he's doing so well, but he requires a lot of time and attention. My sister just had a baby last month, so most of the responsiblities fall on my shoulder. He took care of me (to a certain extent) when I was growing up, so I will do the same as he needs me, but the changes in my lifestyle, disruption of routine, are hard. I mainly draw on the strength of God and just try to adapt as best I can.

Darlene,

You are right...change is definitely a theme right now. It was the theme of Thankful Thursday's post yesterday too. The one thing I know for certain is that change is always hard to some extent for us but we can always take comfort in that God never changes!!

Blessings to you today!!

I must admit, I'm not one who is often comfortable with change. Well, change that's sprung on them anyway. The change in my life right now is experiencing and watching my baby girl turn into a toddler and that is certainly a good thing! (Though I miss the little baby stage too!)

Hi Darlene..
((((Hugz))) I have missed you so my sister. I know what you mean about changes, I have had many lately as well. I also had computer and blog issues and had so much to redo. I lost all of my links to you all so I am slowy putting my blog list back in order. I can tell you miss you daughter no matter what they will always be our babies. My daughter will be coming home to visit next month and I can't wait to see her. She is 25 and is living on her own in San Francisco. I don't like that she is up there alone but she is going to school and working. I'm so glad to see you and I will check back with you.

Luv ya Lorie
