Happy Anniversary....Baby!

For more Then Sings My Soul Saturday visit Amy.

23 years ago today I married the most wonderful man in the world! I can't believe it is 23 years...time flies by so fast. It seems just yesterday ...Joey was calling me to ask me out on a date.
I love to listen to Jim Brickman. A perfect date would be to get all dressed up and go to a Jim Brickman concert. The kind where you sit at a table and can see Jim Brickman playing the piano and "your man" asked you to dance...everyone is sitting down and watching. "Your man" has only eyes for you, he twirls you around the dance floor ...at the end of the dance you just hold each other and look into each others eyes and the others stand and clap and you realize you are in a room with others.
Maybe one day...back to the real world.
I think we are going to ride go carts. LOL
Joey loves to ride and he is out of town so much sooo off to the dirt track we go.
I am really okay with this...it doesn't matter what we do today ..as long as we are together...

I decided to dream a little on what I thought a perfect date would be and share with you 2 of my favorite Jim Brickman songs. As I listen to these songs ...Joey and I are dancing (in my dreams).
I hope you enjoy them.

The Gift

Your Love

Joey did wake me up this morning singing "Happy Anniversay Baby...I got you my mind"! IT was soooo sweet!

Happy Anniversary! In a world where marriage is taken lightly and vows are broken daily, how refreshing to see a couple in it for the long haul!

Happy Anniversary!!

I tried to stop your ipod so I could hear the songs, but I couldn't figure out how to do it...

Have fun on the go carts! James and the boys would love that!

Blessings & Happy Anniversary Darlene...Such a romantic! That is
quite the dream...you are so blessed!

How very beautiful the 2 songs, "The Gift" & "Your Love" ...beautiful singers...
Now I know I've been away from USA too long because I did not know them but I guess I'm way past the
beauty of romance like this! The words can be sung to Our Lord also!

ENJOY a wonderful day, even if it's go carts! It's good to be young & in love...just be thankful for this
special time to bless you both! Happy 23rd Joey & Darlene!

Hi Darlene,

I stopped by to meet you. Your blog has such a peaceful feeling. I loved hearing Jeremy Camp sing. His voice is so incredible! Happy late Anniversary. I love your perfect date. It sounds like a Cinderella story but dreams do come true. I think it was an act of love to be good with go carts over the waltz. Smart move. B

You have one year on my sweetie and me. You are right, though, where does the time go. It is awesome to have such history with just one man! God bless your marriage!
