Thankful Thursday!

Today my heart seems heavy, but I want to share the things that I am Thankful for:

Friends who pray and listen to me.

God is always with me.

I can pray anywhere at anytime.

When I am weak HE is strong.

6 Days left of school then I will be off for the SUMMER!

I am going to be off tomorrow. Senior Honors Day (Andrea gets her cords and honors)!

Summer, Summer, Summer!!

My husband bought groceries this week, so I didn't have the chore! Thanks Joey!!

My swimming pool is ready to enjoy!

Birds...I know this may seem strange, but God has blessed my home with the most pretty red and blue birds. When I see them I thank HIM for sending me a delight!

So, what are you Thankful for?

Oh, I love it! I posted a TT a few weeks back about birds. Their singing just brightens my day. I loved looking at all the pictures on your blog, too. Have a great day.

I am thankful for birds too - we have a number of bird feeders around our place and we get the most amazing woodpeckers I just love it.

Have a great Thursday.

I life my eyes to the mountain - where does my help come from - my help comes from the Lord - the maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121

I hope this lifts your heart today

You mentioned your heart was heavy...isn't it amazing when we "look" to the blessings, the less heavy we feel the burden...and the knowledge that HE is always there to lift and carry us through is at the top of that gratitude list...The girls below are beautiful....what a gift that your daughter has such faithful friends....

Blessings!

My kids keep asking when we get to go to the beach. Since it's lake water, we still have to wait a bit. But, I love summer time too - no school, relaxing outside and spending time together!

Thanks for stopping by my TT and for your prayers. There's definitely a lot of disaster going on around the world right now.

Your being thankful for the birds brought a smile to my face. I never have been one to enjoy birds, but homeschooling changed that. We have a "married" couple (cardinals) that come to our feeder as well as a male red-bellied woodpecker and a blue jay that loves to come on our front porch and eat our cat's food. My boys and I get such a thrill out of seeing them each day and were so happy none of them were harmed in the fires.

Birds? No, it's not strange...we have them by the tree near our room window and I just love the noises, the chirping sound they make...I'm actually hearing some now..

Darlene...I LOVE YOUR DELIGHT & THANKFUL LIST...especially the birds! May our Heavenly Father carry and lift you while your heart is heavy...with all that's happening around us I can see why, but I thank HIM with you for the people He has surrounded you with to listen and pray! May you find strength in the Joy of the Lord, that comes in the precious form of bed & blue birds, school almost out, a beautiful daughter with great friends and HONORS...and thanks for your visit! For having a heavy heart you sure came through with thanks.

I love birds. I feed them. To me they represent freedom and song.

Only 6 more days of school, we have 11. People sure seem anxious for summer this year. It must have been a long winter. I know that it was for us. The snow just melted about 3 weeks ago. And I've already got my beans, peas, and lettuce planted.

Great post. I was looking at the picture of the girls, they are so cute. Do they have boyfriends?? Are you laughing? I have a son and I am looking for a good looking single Christian girl for him. Wouldnt it be nice if we could match our kids with their mates??hahaha Really, they are very pretty girls. I have a daughter their age and she is having the time of her young life. Love your blog, thanks for visiting me. God Bless~
