Sings My Soul Saturday!

Sings my Soul Saturday. I tried to post the button that goes with this but, I for some strange reason it would not let me. I am working on this. Sorry, Amy.

This song Renew Me was used in last Sunday's service by Wings of Morning. They were visiting our church to work with our youth program for Disiple Now weekend. This song touch me and I have thought about it all week. I feel that I am spiritual week and need renewing. I don't know if it is everything that my family has gone through (GOD has Brought us through) in the past months or because my one and only offspring is graduating high school. But, for whatever the reason...I need renewing and this song is awesome!

Yesterday was Senior Honor's Day at Jemison where Andrea received her cords and honors. I am so proud of her she is an amazing young lady! Afterwards we (just Andrea and I) went to lunch and walked around in some shops. I was thrilled to have this one on one time with her and with the fact that she did'nt complain that it was just her and I...really made it FABULOUS!

Thanks for all the encouraging words and prayers from Thankful Thursday. It made my heart lighter by posting my thanks and reading the many others.

My oldest is only 14. This must be a very emotional time for you with your daughter graduating high school. I can't imagine all of the things that I will be feeling in 4 years.

I was wondering about you today. We had Kori's Grad party last night. She and I both were an emotional wreck at first, then enjoyed the time with friends. Wondering how you are handling things. This is tough hu? It is a roller coaster of emotions, I am excited, thrilled, proud and yet so emotional. I can't even explain the tears. I am not really sad... just can't stop crying. Wondering if you understood?

Sounds like Senior honors day was great and you and your daughter having an awesome time, even better.

I was looking over your blog and wanted to tell you what a beautiful daughter you have. The picture of her and her girlfriend way back when and now was really something. Both girls are so pretty. I can't believe how time flies, but she is lucky to have a friend like this. I have my best friend from 3rd grade still in my life and it is such a great joy. No one knows me like she does.

Thanks so much for praying for my mom. it really helped to know you and others were praying.

i just typed in sips and strokes on my google bar and it brought up a post you did months ago where you'd mention going there. I was curious and clicked on it and then when I saw you lived in Jemison I thought 'wow God' small world!
