This song really spoke to me because I can't live a day without HIM in my life. God has blessed my family so much and HE is always with me even when I don't think I need HIM. Which is crazy .....because I need HIM all the time. HE is the air I breathe, the sunshine to my day, the breeze on a warm day. I think you get what I am trying to say. I use to tease my husband and tell him that he was the ice to my sweet tea, sugar to my pie. etc. I always like seeing his face when I would come up with something new and watch him smile. I hope that this song speaks to you has it has to me.

Thankful Thursday!

I have so much to be THANKFUL for and, I always seem to leave some things out or when I read over different blogs list of thanks, I realize.. I too am thankful for some of the same things but, I failed to list it. So, I am sure I am leaving a lot off my list for today...but this is what is on the brain for now.

Today I am THANKFUL for:

The ladies at the tag division who are so nice and smile at me even tho they are probably thinking "would this crazy blonde who forgot to brush her hair quit asking questions and move on". I had to go get Joey a tag 1st thing this morning.

No lines at McDonald's this morning when I soooo needed a diet coke.

The beautiful sunshine and birds singing.

Stanley Steamer who is coming to clean my carpet today.

Neices....my neice Amy who has helped me get my house back in order to put it up for sale. And her precious daughters: Ashlynn and Bralynn who love to come to my house and swim and spend time with me.

My friend Tracy who made us a Butterfinger cake. it was a combo for my birthday and her family came over to swim and grill out on Sunday evening.

Joey who works so hard to provide for our family.

My daughter Andrea....who just returned from her Senior trip at the beach (without me). We missed her so much....but, so glad to have her back home safe and all tanned.

Friends and church family.

Prayer warriors who pray for us daily.

My Saviour who on a daily basis is tweaking me into the person HE wants me to be.

Floats, sunscreen and the radio.

Summer is here and school is out....this means fun by the pool, friends and of course good FOOD!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

I can't believe it has been a week since my last post! We have been so busy with graduation and school ending for summer. Joey starting a new adventure and Andrea heading to the beach. WOW! I have been running around like a wild woman! LOL
I will be posting soon on all activities and hopefully some great pictures!

Sings My Soul Saturday!

Sings my Soul Saturday. I tried to post the button that goes with this but, I for some strange reason it would not let me. I am working on this. Sorry, Amy.

This song Renew Me was used in last Sunday's service by Wings of Morning. They were visiting our church to work with our youth program for Disiple Now weekend. This song touch me and I have thought about it all week. I feel that I am spiritual week and need renewing. I don't know if it is everything that my family has gone through (GOD has Brought us through) in the past months or because my one and only offspring is graduating high school. But, for whatever the reason...I need renewing and this song is awesome!

Yesterday was Senior Honor's Day at Jemison where Andrea received her cords and honors. I am so proud of her she is an amazing young lady! Afterwards we (just Andrea and I) went to lunch and walked around in some shops. I was thrilled to have this one on one time with her and with the fact that she did'nt complain that it was just her and I...really made it FABULOUS!

Thanks for all the encouraging words and prayers from Thankful Thursday. It made my heart lighter by posting my thanks and reading the many others.

Thankful Thursday!

Today my heart seems heavy, but I want to share the things that I am Thankful for:

Friends who pray and listen to me.

God is always with me.

I can pray anywhere at anytime.

When I am weak HE is strong.

6 Days left of school then I will be off for the SUMMER!

I am going to be off tomorrow. Senior Honors Day (Andrea gets her cords and honors)!

Summer, Summer, Summer!!

My husband bought groceries this week, so I didn't have the chore! Thanks Joey!!

My swimming pool is ready to enjoy!

Birds...I know this may seem strange, but God has blessed my home with the most pretty red and blue birds. When I see them I thank HIM for sending me a delight!

Friends: Hillary, Alexis, Lauren and Andrea.
These girls have been friends for most of their school career. Most of the time when you see these girls out, you will see them together (unless a boyfriend is in the picture). They have a lot of fun and are always just a phone call away when they have a break-up or just need someone to talk to.
I am so proud of each of these girls!!

Friends are Friends Forever.
Andrea and Hillary have been friends since kindergarden. 1st picture was taken during that 1st year 1995. 2nd picture was taken Aug. "07" picture day for football programs. While there looks have changed some. There friendship remains stronger than ever.
